Teacher Directions | · Model how to cut out sandwich ingredients.
· Explain that the number five can be broken down into different combinations or pairs · Show that five can be 4 plus 1 or 3 plus 2 and vice versa · Have students decide how to distribute the 5 cookies to the 2 plates. · How many combinations are there? · Repeat back to them the combination they made · Have them color their cookies and plates |
