The Bible Story of Acts Miracles
The book of Acts tells how God worked powerfully through the apostles after Jesus returned to heaven. These miracles helped people see that the message about Jesus was true.
One well-known miracle is when Peter healed the lame man at the temple gate. The man had not been able to walk, but Peter told him in the name of Jesus Christ to get up and walk. Right away, the man was healed and began walking and praising God.
Another story is about Tabitha, also called Dorcas. She was known for her kindness and for making clothes for people in need. When Tabitha became sick and died, Peter came and prayed. Then God brought her back to life, and many people believed in the Lord.
God also rescued Peter in an amazing way in the story of Peter’s miraculous escape from prison. Peter was guarded in prison, but an angel came, the chains fell off, and Peter was led safely out.
In another miracle, Eutychus fell from a window while Paul was speaking late into the night. Everyone was very upset, but Paul went down, embraced him, and Eutychus was restored to life.
